Merced County’s Only IKECA-Certified Exhaust Cleaning Company
From UC Merced’s dining halls to the Yosemite-gateway kitchens along Highway 140, we clean the hoods that feed Merced County — certified, documented, and accepted by every fire authority in the region.
Merced County stretches from the Highway 99 corridor through dairy and ag country to the I-5 crossroads at Los Banos. We service UC Merced’s campus dining, travel-plaza kitchens along Highway 152 and Highway 140, and every restaurant, school, and institutional kitchen in between — with the same IKECA-certified process and photo-documented results.
Six cities, one certified team. Click a city for local AHJ details and scheduling.
The nearest other IKECA-certified company is 70+ miles away, in the Bay Area. IKECA certification isn’t a logo — it’s a standard, with insurance and training requirements behind it.
Every service includes timestamped photos of each section of ductwork, proving the system was cleaned to bare metal. Your fire inspector and insurer see the proof.
Signed certificate, NFPA 96 compliance report, and IKECA credentials — formatted the way Merced County inspectors and insurers expect to see it.
We work when your kitchen doesn’t. Overnight, between shifts, weekends — your operation never loses a service hour.
Merced County has multiple fire authorities. The AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) that inspects your kitchen depends on your city:
Covers all commercial kitchens inside the Merced city limits. The Merced Fire Prevention Division handles plan review and routine fire inspections for restaurants, hotels, and institutional kitchens.
Los Banos runs its own municipal fire department and fire-prevention bureau. Commercial kitchen inspections are conducted directly by Los Banos Fire — not by CAL FIRE.
CAL FIRE’s MMU operates as the Merced County Fire Department under contract for unincorporated areas and contract cities including Atwater, Livingston, Gustine, and Dos Palos. The Merced County Fire Prevention Bureau handles commercial fire-prevention plan review and inspections.
Tell us about your kitchen — number of hoods, cooking type, last cleaning date. Get a clear, itemized quote with no surprises.
IKECA-certified technicians clean your entire exhaust system — hood, filters, ductwork, fan, and rooftop — with before-and-after photos at every stage.
Walk away with a signed certificate, photo report, and compliance documentation your local fire authority accepts — ready for your next inspection.
“It’s been an uphill battle to get a quality company to clean our hood system. We’ve had them come from all over the valley. Now we’ve got Arthur here in our town… I’ve been in the business for over 40 years. Very professional, courteous, fair pricing and checks back to make sure we are satisfied.”
“We received excellent service, follow up and communication throughout the whole hood cleaning service for our restaurant. The owner Arthur is a stand up guy who does exactly what he says he’ll do. I’m really happy we made the switch.”
