Your Free Hood Cleaning Site Assessment

A Certified Exhaust System Inspector walks your kitchen exhaust system, takes grease readings on every part with a comb gauge, checks the filters, the fan and the duct run, and sends you a three-page report with your estimate. It also tells you whether your kitchen qualifies for the Cleaning Pros Plus, LLC Priority Service Plan.

Grease depth on the hood, filters, duct and fan, with the number, against NFPA 96 limits
UL-listed filter check, fan performance, belt, hinge and access, horizontal duct and panels
Your cleaning schedule set from your own cooking: hours open, appliances, grease load
Air district rules for your county, and what staying on schedule does for your kitchen air and your energy bill
Your eligibility for the Priority Service Plan, and the estimate to get there

This is not an inspection, and it does not decide compliance. What you get is your system measured, part by part, before you decide anything.

How it works

1

Schedule

2

The walk

About an hour on site on average, longer for larger systems. The inspector reads every part, photographs every system, and asks about your hours, your appliances and your last cleaning.

3

Your report

Within 24 hours: the three pages, your estimate from the rate card, and your Priority Service Plan eligibility. Sign the service agreement and accept the schedule, and your first cleaning goes onto the calendar.

Questions kitchens ask

Is the Site Assessment really free?
Yes. The walk, the three-page report and the estimate cost nothing and carry no obligation. It is how we price the work, and how you see your system measured before you decide.
Is it an inspection?
No. An inspection is a compliance determination and is a separate, paid service. The Site Assessment records readings as found and makes no determination; it tells you what the numbers are and what the estimate covers.
How long does it take?
About an hour on average; larger systems and multiple hoods take longer. We come when the line is quiet: before opening or between 2 and 4 in the afternoon.
What if my system reads Critical?
The report says so, with the number, and the estimate includes a restoration cleaning priced per foot. Your kitchen qualifies for the Priority Service Plan on the first scheduled service after it.
Do you serve my area?
Assessments are run directly across the Central Valley, the Bay Area and Northern California. Multi-site clients elsewhere in California are scheduled by region.
